2 very beautiful guest rooms in a house from the XVII Century, including dependence and pool. This charming home is located in a small and calm hamlet near Lake La Vallette.
The Venetian entry leads to the Provencal and to the Moorish bedrooms. Breakfast is up to the beauty of the places and to the quality of the welcome: Marie serves its delicious homemade jams and warm cakes baked during the morning!

My Favourite: Gîte « Chokoko Borda »
This old barn is very comfortable and fully renovated in respect of the Basque architecture. Yvon Zill, the owner, is a friend of mine and also fishing guide. This beautiful home, located at 400m above sea level, is situated in the Basque countryside in a quiet and wooded environment. It has a unique perspective on the outskirts of the very nice village of Arneguy.

Traditional fishing lodge
This very nice cottage is well equipped and adapted to the fishermen.
It is located in the countryside in the town of St Martin La Méanne and near many lakes and rivers.
Its owner, Peter, himself a fly fisherman, is very endearing and sympathetic, and many guests leave the premises friends.

My Favourite: Welcome to the Mas Saint Germain
This is the genuine Camargue Mas where I live. My family in law and wife own this place for several generations and will welcome you in the heart of the Camargue Natural Park. Mas Saint Germain is an ideal place for your vacation. Our 200 hectare (500 acre) estate is home to four comfortable, independent holiday cottages. The cottages all started life as traditional Carmargue buildings and played an active role in the life of the farm. They have been lovingly restored to comfortable self-catering holiday accommodation in very traditional surroundings. We also offer spacious bed and breakfast accommodation in the main 17th Century farmhouse. Mas Saint Germain is a working farm, we breed Camargue horses and bulls on the estate, and you will also see our famous Arles Merino sheep, and Provence donkey – traditionally used for sheep droving. Our fields of organic rice and wheat extend right to the edge of the Vaccarès lake, a National Nature Reserve, and a paradise for migratory birds and the resident flamingos. It is a magical place that you can visit easily on foot, or the back of one of our wonderful Carmargue horses.
